Your Telephone Number will not be BILLED with EasyCall
The PCC service launched commercially as "EasyCall" - allows service user to make phone calls from any DTMF telephone set and the call is charged to a card number provided by the user. When service user uses this service, he should enter access code, card number and corresponding Personal Identification Number (PIN). Only after confirming the validity of the card number and the PIN number, the service user is allowed to make call to the desired destination. During the call, real time billing will be conducted and the prepaid amount shall be deducted to pay the cost of the call and other services. With this service, customer can call any time to any where, and the Local PSTN number need not have prior STD and ISD facilities from Nepal Telecom. Currently, Nepal Telecom has introduced Prepaid Calling Card service with three different face values i.e. Rs 200, Rs 500 & Rs 1000 to suit its customers which are valid for 6 months, 12 months and 18 months respectively.

How to use Prepaid Calling Card (PCC)? Your " EasyCall" account is instantly
activated when you make the first call to any destination (Local/STD/ISD).
In order to make a call, dial the access code (1650) and follow the voice
instructions or follow the instruction as shown in the backview of the EasyCall
Card.
Call Procedure Flow:
Dial access code (1650) and hear the language selection voice prompt.
Press 1- for English and 2- for Nepali Voice.
Enter the 9 digits Card Number and then press the pound key (#) to confirm after the voice prompt for card number input.
Enter the 6 digits Personal Identification Number (PIN) and then press the pound key (#) to confirm after the voice prompt for PIN number input. If PIN has been modified, PIN can be of 4 to 8 digits, but initially set to 6 digits.

Note:While setting your Abbreviated Code or dialing telephone number, you have to enter the area code + telephone number for local/domestic call (ex- '014412688') and 1424 or 00
or budget call (1445 or 1425) + country code + area code + telephone number for International calls.
Important Precautions
Modify the PIN number ( 4 to 8 digits) on your own as soon as you scratch the PIN number and always keep it a secret. Lost or forgotten PIN numbers can not be recovered or altered later.
While making a call from any Telephone set with LCD screen, do not forget to delete the numeric numbers you have dialed. Since such telephone sets have the provision of storing any input values, there are chances of storing Card No. and PIN of your 'EasyCall" thereby passing such secret code to an unauthorized person to use your Card.

Where can I use "EasyCall" service?
A. "EasyCall" can be used from PSTN Telephone set within the Nepal Telecom Network to any destination.
How much am I paying for the matured calls?
A. Tariff rate for the 'EasyCall' is the same as those for PSTN calls (local/STD/ISD). It means that the total call cost for the same destination for PSTN call or "EasyCall" is charged the same.
How to cancel dialed digits?
A. Press "*" to cancel dialed digits and follow the voice instruction.
Can I make a call worth Rs 200 by purchasing "EasyCall" of its face value RS200?
A. No, because this face value of RS 200 ( or Rs 500 or Rs 1000) is inclusive of VAT ( Value-Added Tax) and TSC ( Telecom Service Charge) also. The following table shows the value breakdown of the "EasyCall" and actual cost will be always less than the face value of the card.

Note: In the above calculation, the face value of the EasyCall = Call Value+TSC+VAT where TSC is the 10% of the Call value and VAT is the 13% of the subtotal of the Call value and TSC.
If I make an EasyCall from my phone, will those calls be billed on my phone number also?
A. No, the call cost for the EasyCalls will be deducted automatically from the card (online) and the phones used for making EasyCalls will not be charged for those calls.
What happens if my "EasyCall" Card is lost?
A. If your EasyCall Card' is lost, or stolen or misplaced; Nepal Telecom bears no responsibility under any circumstances. Hence, it is strictly instructed to keep your "EasyCall" Card safely and it is advisable that you modify the PIN through management function as soon as you activate your card, so that even if you lose your Card, any unauthorized person will not be able to use that card. But remember, loss of Card is loss of Money. You cannot recover the lost money by claiming to Nepal Telecom.
